The Economic and Social History Society for Scotland (ESHSS) is an organisation for anyone interested in Scottish history.
We aim to encourage research and support the celebration of Scottish history, with special focus on the ways in which people of the past lived, worked, and played. We produce the Journal of Scottish Historical Studies, run a prestigious essay prize, and sponsor events.
